Matcha in the morning, matcha at night, matcha all the draw during the day! This lime-mint-matcha combo is a giant morning or afternoon retract-me-up, or add a splash of rum for a shining and refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 2 limes, divided
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- three tablespoons mint leaves, divided
- 2 teaspoons matcha (inexperienced tea powder)
Directions:
- Sever 1 lime in half, then slice 2 wedges from 1 half and reserve for garnish. Juice remaining 1 half of limes to yield 2 Tbsp. juice. Combine lime juice, sugar, and a pair of Tbsp. mint leaves in a measuring cup or cocktail shaker. Clutter mint with the attend of a spoon. Let take a seat 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, pour half of cup water real into a slight bowl. Sift matcha through a fairly-mesh sieve into water and lag until restful. Bound matcha into mint mixture, then divide between 2 glasses filled with ice. High with pleasing water. Garnish with lime wedges and remaining 1 Tbsp. mint.
