I purchased the one-ounce pouch of this Enzo Organic Stevia Powder back in November 2016. At the time, I was still very new to the taste of Stevia so it didn’t appeal to me at all. I put the pouch away, then, proceeded to search for something better and ended up buying several different brands in the hopes of finding that something better. After testing so many brands, including SweatLeaf, I started to believe that I would never understand how to like the taste of Stevia. And I really wanted to like Stevia because I don’t use regular sugar, yet cannot drink my coffee without some sugar. I started to use granules of Xylitol in my coffee which looks and tastes exactly like sugar, but it took a lot of it to sweeten my coffee. I had forgotten that I still had the Enzo Stevia in my kitchen pantry and I pulled it back out to give it another try. I had seen the many reviews and noted that the Enzo product is marketed as being 320 times sweeter than regular sugar. I began to experiment with the Enzo brand to determine how much is the right amount needed to perfect my daily cup of coffee. First, I noted that the Enzo Stevia does, indeed, have a powerfully strong sweetness to it. It’s so strong that when I used too much, the sweetness was no longer sweet, rather it became bitter. I finally determined that it takes 1/16th of a teaspoon to make my coffee palatable. Second, I noted that although the pouch contains a very fine powder, similar to baby powder, it didn’t automatically dissolve in my coffee. So I added it to my cup before the coffee was added which worked the best for me. My coffee maker is a Nespresso one that makes one cup at a time and uses Pods to disperse. I place my coffee cup with the Enzo Stevia powder into it and allowed the coffee to drip into my cup. As it drips into the cup, the hot coffee is hitting the Stevia Powder and dissolving it upon impact. I added my frothy Heavy Whipping Cream into my full cup of coffee. And this resulted in a perfect delicious cup of coffee. I have finally made myself the right balance of Stevia to cream to coffee. In my search for the best cup of coffee, I found that Enzo is my favorite tasting sugar alternative and have been using it for the past four months now. This one-ounce packet which I thought was not going to be enough, ended up working for me. It’s true, that a very little amount of this powder, really does go a very long way. I highly recommend the Enzo Organic Stevia Powder to anyone seeking a sugar replacement. However, it’s important to first become familiar with the Stevia taste. If I didn’t make myself familiar with the Stevia taste first, I would have never come to appreciate the Enzo Stevia Powder as much as I do today.
