This caffeine boosted cocktail brings together Jap green tea, new cucumber, and a healthy splash of gin. Brad Stanton of Hawksworth in Vancouver created this revitalizing cocktail to enhance their summer brunch menu.

For the Matcha Syrup: Combine the matcha powder and boiling water in a little bowl and run till soft. Combine matcha mixture and rich easy syrup in a medium saucepan over low warmth.
