Original Recipe Green-tea-coconut-donuts
Ingredient
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 2 tsp. Matcha Powder
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil (melted)
- 3/4 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Frosting
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 tsp. Matcha Powder
- 3 tbs. Coconut Milk
Direction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and matcha powder. Whisk together.
- In a stand mixer, beat egg. Add sugar, coconut oil, coconut milk and vanilla extract. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Spoon batter into donut pans until about 3/4 full, and place in the oven. Let bake for about 15 minutes, or until slightly golden and a toothpick is clean when inserted in the center.
- While donuts cool, make the glaze. Combine the powdered sugar, coconut milk and matcha powder. Use a whisk to combine. Once donuts are cool, spoon the frosting on top. Sprinkle toasted coconut on top, and enjoy!
